EXPAND public parks by using top floors of car parks.
Google satellites show very clearly that our town centres are full of areas ideal for expanding our public parks.
We have many times as many people living in BCP as when the Victorians laid out the public parks and outdoor spaces.
Poole Park has had a lot of input in the last few years which is fantastic for those of us who live close to it.
Top floors of car parks could have bike stores, parklets, yoga spaces, skate parks, sculpture exhibitions, acoustic music, all age play areas with gym equipment and climbing frames and more.
The possibilities for making living and working in our town centres attractive enough not to spend hours of precious leisure time driving to get away from them are endless.
Less parking means fewer cars clogging up the roads, which the new cycle improvements are already delivering.
