I AM very angry that services for 80+ adults with disabilities are cut.
Can I presume the charity don’t think much of adults with disabilities that don’t live in care homes ?
What are these people meant to do? There’s not a lot they can do if where they’ve been attending for years has shut for good. Little thought has been given to them.
I volunteer at two places with adults and teenagers with disabilities and what I get from these lovely people is amazing. All this is taken away from them and the people that worked in these centres.
Has anyone thought about their mental health because they are not seeing all their friends that they saw each week? Restite for the parents’, family, some days all gone. Why?
