I HAVE noticed recently that most VIPs that are interviewed on TV display shelves of books in the background.
Why is this?
Is it to prove they are literate, academic or well read?
I have a substantial collection of books at home but unfortunately no one ever reads them.
I have a distinct feeling that they will all finish up in a charity shop one day.
