HOW many of your readers agree with me?

The majority of us generally do our shopping at supermarkets. I am not picking on one particular brand, but I have tried them all from budget supermarkets to what some may call quality ones.

When you spend your hard eared wages or your pension on a piece of beef steak or a nice joint of topside beef for your meal, it is becoming a more regular happening that is as tough as leather.

I have discussed the issue with a local butcher who suggests that if the meat is tough, it would suggest that it is old.

I would suggest that the buyers at these stores start looking at quality suppliers and stop ripping off customers with sub-standard beef.
