HOW interesting. Your article on August 5 regarding council corruption brings forth the comment from Mr Cotton, its corporate director for regeneration, that the council was “fully committed to openness and transparency”.
I think I have read those exact words for the last 40 years and infer that a huge, vast and impenetrable smokescreen has been erected so that the electorate will see and learn very little. It is a total disgrace. We deserve better but the peasants have no voice.
