AFTER being in lockdown since March 19 due to life-limiting diseases, my husband and I decided to go for a much longed-for drive and fill up the car.
I was appalled that not one person on a very busy petrol forecourt was wearing a mask or the plastic gloves supplied. The pumps were back to back so people using adjacent pumps were not social distancing.
It would seem the ignorant imbeciles who I witnessed believe the virus is no longer a life threat, or are they of the opinion they are immune so who cares about anybody else.
Whatever the reason, we are now back in lockdown. Thank you everybody who is so damn selfish. Shame on you.
