MARTIN Luther King fought for a world where people wouldn’t be judged by the colour of their skin but by the content of their character.

The political revolutionaries of Black Lives Matter want the opposite.

They sow suspicion, division and hatred by grouping people into black and white boxes with a simplistic “white, guilty, oppressive” and “black, victim, oppressed” narrative.

I share Martin Luther King’s vision of a world where the amount of melanin pigment in someone’s skin becomes as irrelevant as eye colour.

Don’t fall for BLM politics dressed up as compassion. Treat each other as individuals, not a politically assigned identity group.
