REGARDING Mr Dunton’s letter about the Boer concentration camps, should he read every account of this horrible act he will find the practice was began and increased more and more by Earl Kitchener who took command in 1900 after Lord Roberts left.

At no time is Baden-Powell mentioned by Emily Hobhouse who did bring the facts to the British government. But that gentleman was never in charge in South Africa.
