IT is quite astonishing that the Dorset health authorities are backing closure of Poole Hospital A&E. This will leave Poole with no A&E and Royal Bournemouth Hospital A&E with double workload.
Has anyone even considered average time for ambulances to reach RBH from Poole?
Where are our MPs? I thought they represented their constituents. Obviously not in relation to planned closure of Poole A&E and its impact on RBH. They should be opposing this utter lunacy.
The front page of the Daily Echo recently had a photo of total traffic gridlock (nine months of roadworks) on the Bournemouth Spur Road approaching Cooper Dean Roundabout – which is next to Royal Bournemouth Hospital.
Poole also has its own nine-month roadworks planned.
I will not dwell on journey times from Poole to Bournemouth – especially when Poole Road, Wessex Way and Spur Road are very often at a complete standstill.
Shame on our MPs and health authorities for letting the planned closure of Poole A&E proceed. How do they get away with it!?
