REGARDING the recent letter you published from a lady in your letters page praising Cllr Ron Whittaker. I fully endorse her comments.
He was born in Bournemouth, as was my late wife Alderman Mrs Jeanne Curtis, and was very kind to me when she passed away and still is to me, and has devoted 100 per cent to Bournemouth and the people.
In my opinion he should be put forward to be included in the next New Year’s Honours list.
