There’s now handy ‘tweet’ and ‘recommend’ buttons at the top of every article so you can easily share what you’ve been reading on Twitter and Facebook. Plus, you can even see what other people have been sharing from the Bournemouth Echo site too. Take a look at ‘most popular’ panel to see which ten stories are the most recommended on Facebook and shared via email.
Our crime section under Local Info has transformed too. You can now get monthly, street-level crime statistics for your postcode from the Home Office for England and Wales.
The data includes crime numbers for six key offences mapped to anonymous points along streets in your area.
The section also contains details of neighbourhood police teams, YouTube videos and Twitter feeds from your local police teams, plus events and an RSS feed of crime news.
