CHAMPION Sports under-15s were crowned winners of the Football Cup Barcelona after sweeping aside teams from across Europe.
The Poole-based outfit grabbed a dramatic 1-0 victory in the final against Swedish side IF Brommapojkarna courtesy of Bailey Rowe's late free-kick.
In the group stage, Champion saw off GIF Nike 2-0 thanks to a double from Rowe, while they also thrashed Finnish side IF Sibbo-Vargarna 7-1. Rowe racked up five goals and Josh Stanley and Frankie Castillo were also on the scoresheet.
A Rowe brace and a Tyler Rudd goal allowed the Dorset side to seal a 3-0 success against Løv-Ham North.
Two more Rowe goals arrived in a 4-0 success against Lough Derg with Castillo and Davies also netting, while Norwegian team Kurland FK were sunk 7-0.
Rowe, the tournament's top goalscorer, bagged five and Tommy Cameron and Edd Demasci completed the rout.
Harry Phillips was named goalkeeper of the tournament after conceding just two goals.
Football Cup Barcelona is an international youth tournament for boys and girls, held in the Salou and Cambrils area.
Around 75 teams from 15 countries took part in the competition, which was approved by the Spanish and Catalan football federations.
