BOURNEMOUTH stalwart Sam Hardcastle was honoured with a testimonial at Chapel Gate on Saturday.
A President's XV took on a Hardcastle XV in an exhibition clash for the legendary scrum-half, who first joined the club in the under-11 ranks.
The 37-year-old was also named Lions players’ player of the year at their end-of-season awards.
Player of the year went to Scott Chislett, most improved was Dan Stewart and best newcomer was Richard Sharp.
