STEPHEN Woolley played a starring role as Swanage & Wareham chalked up a 14-0 win over Southern Counties South rivals Devizes at Bestwall.
Woolley scored one try and two conversions as Swans avenged a 22-8 defeat by the Wiltshire outfit earlier this season.
Fly-half Woolley spotted a gap in the Devizes line and dived over to give Swans the lead after 17 minutes before adding the extras.
Then, on 67 minutes, a grubber kick along the ground by Woolley turned the Devizes defence, allowing Lee Hardy to score their second try with Woolley adding a difficult conversion to complete the scoring.
Swans: Barton, Spyers, Roberts, Elford, Phillips (Hardy, 58), Woolley, Tomes, Audley (Scott, 35), Daniels, Wyburgh, Penney, Desmond, McCaffrey (Dicker, 72), Ford, Jones.
New Milton were on the receiving end of a heavy 85-0 beating at the hands of London Three South West leaders Old Cranleighan.
