DORSET star Georgia Hall put herself well into contention after a second-round 67 at the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Open.
Following an opening round 69, a faultless front nine from the 21-year-old saw her reach the turn in 32 at the Saadiyat Beach Golf Club in Abu Dhabi.
Hall recorded a blistering run of four birdies in five holes coming between the fourth and eighth.
She then picked up another shot at the par-five 11th, which took her to five under for the day and eight under for the tournament.
A dropped shot on the 13th was a rare blemish for the Wimborne-based professional, but Hall rallied with another birdie two holes later.
The world number 42 eventually signed for a 67, leaving her four shots behind tournament leader Lee-Anne Pace, who carded another round of 66 on day two.
