LYMINGTON Town pegged back Portland United to salvage a 2-2 draw in Sydenhams Wessex Premier.

Harry Hawkins gave the home side an early lead but Lewis Clarke levelled midway through the first half and Alex Godfrey put Portland in front.

However, Adam Roberts pounced to ensure Lymington secured a share of the spoils.

Poppies played out a 2-2 draw with Bashley in difficult conditions.

Manny Ohameje and Ali Fakhal registered for the home side with Conor Whiteley and Kabba Jack finding the net for Bash.

In Wessex One, New Milton Town were thumped 5-0 at home by Laverstock & Ford.

Danny Finnigan bagged a brace for Lavvy and Russell Jones, Archie Lovegrove and Tom Mundy also converted.

Christchurch, Ringwood and Verwood’s games were postponed.

Tomorrow, Bashley are scheduled to make the trip to Horndean in Wessex Premier, while New Milton host Totton & Eling in Wessex One.

Christchurch will aim to continue their promotion push on Wednesday, when they host Alton.
