CHERRIES are one of five Premier League clubs said to be “monitoring” Norwegian right-back Omar Elabdellaoui, according to Mail Online.

The Dorset club are reportedly listed alongside Leicester, Aston Villa, Watford and Burnley as possible suitors for the Olympiakos defender, whose contract expires next summer.

Elabdellaoui has won 41 caps for his country and featured alongside Cherries striker Joshua King in Norway’s 1-1 draw with Spain on Saturday.

He won the penalty King converted late on to earn his side a point in the Euro 2020 qualifier.

The Mail also claim Celtic “remain interested” in the 27-year-old, who can also operate as a right winger.
