CHERRIES striker Joshua King held his nerve from the penalty spot to earn Norway a 1-1 draw against Spain in a Euro 2020 qualifier.
The Oslo-born star scored a stoppage-time spot-kick, as Norway fought back after Saul Niguez had given the away side the lead two minutes after the break.
Thwarting the group leaders meant Norway moved on to 10 points from seven games in Group F.
King told fotball.no: "It was lovely that it (the penalty) went in.
"The crowd helped us. They gave us an extra push for the last 10 minutes.
“We put up a good fight in the first half and raised ourselves the last 15 to 20 minutes in the second half.”
King’s country are fourth in the table, only four points behind second-placed Sweden.
They visit third-placed Romania on Tuesday (7.45pm).
"We have everything to play for in Romania,” said Cherries’ record Premier League scorer.
“We need to focus on ourselves. There are three games left and we have to try to score nine points."
Elsewhere, Mark Travers was an unused substitute for Republic of Ireland’s 0-0 draw in Group D.
Denmark joined the Boys In Green on 12 points after overcoming Switzerland 1-0 in Copenhagen.
Cherries midfielder Philip Billing was an unused substitute for the Danes.
Meanwhile, Jefferson Lerma came off the bench during Colombia’s 0-0 draw with Chile in Alicante.
