CHERRIES are ready to reward goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale with a bumper new contract, according to a report from TEAMtalk.

The website claims the England under-21 international is set to “more than double” his wages with a new deal.

Ramsdale had played in all eight Premier League games for Eddie Howe’s men this season, having claimed a starting spot ahead of Artur Boruc, Mark Travers and Asmir Begovic.

He had previously been out on loan at Chesterfield and AFC Wimbledon.

The former Sheffield United star joined Cherries from the Blades on a four-and-a-half-year deal in January 2017.
