CHERRIES star Chris Mepham has withdrawn from the Wales squad for Euro 2020 qualifiers against Slovakia and Croatia through injury.
The defender has picked up a calf problem, meaning he has been replaced in the national squad by uncapped MK Dons defender Regan Poole.
Former Brentford star Mepham has played three matches for Wales in their qualification campaign and started the 1-0 win over Azerbaijan in September.
He is not set to feature when Eddie Howe’s men visit Arsenal on Sunday (2pm).
But the Daily Echo understands Mepham is in contention for the home clash with Norwich on October 19, following the international break.
