BURTON-BOUND: Cherries edged past Forest Green on penalties
CHERRIES will head to Burton Albion in the third round of the Carabao Cup.
Eddie Howe's men avoided an upset to defeat League Two outfit Forest Green Rovers tonight, winning on penalties after a 0-0 draw at Vitality Stadium.
Mark Travers was the hero saving three spot-kicks.
Cherries will now go to League One Burton, who thrashed Morecambe 4-0 last night.
Ties will take place on the week commencing September 23.
