RYAN Allsop has returned to Cherries following a loan spell at League One Blackpool.

Allsop, who signed a long-term loan agreement in the summer, made 23 appearances for the Tangerines.

The stopper joined Cherries from Leyton Orient five years ago when the Dorset club was in the third tier.

He made his Premier League debut in November 2015 when he replaced the injured Adam Federici at half-time in the 3-3 draw against Everton.

Subsequently spending time on loan at Wycombe and Portsmouth, Allsop had to wait until the final day of last season for his first top-flight start, featuring in Cherries' 1-1 draw at Leicester.

Allsop, who has also spent time on loan at Coventry, is out of contract this summer.

Meanwhile, young striker Joe Quigley has joined National League outfit Boreham Wood on loan until the end of the season.

Quigley spent the the first half of the campaign at Newport County.
