Cherries have completed the signing of Miles Addison for an undisclosed fee.
The Derby County man penned a three-year deal at Dean Court this afternoon following talks with the Dorset club.
The news brings to a close the long-running transfer saga surrounding Addison, who Cherries have been trying to bring in throughout the summer after the Rams made him available.
Cherries chairman Eddie Mitchell had earlier confirmed to the Daily Echo that Addison was close to agreeing a move to the League One outfit.
Boss Paul Groves has made no secret of his desire to land Addison following his impressive loan spell with Cherries last season.
Addison has played as both a central defender and midfielder during his career, but Groves is most likely to use him at the heart of his back four.
The Cherries manager is now expected to turn his attentions to recruiting a left-back.
