STEVE Riley is hoping Bashley can exorcise the ghost of the “schoolboy defending” that haunted them on their last visit to Stourbridge.
Bash will be bidding to continue their Southern League revival with a third consecutive win when they travel to the west Midlands tomorrow (3pm).
The venue holds bad memories for Bash as they suffered a 6-1 thumping there in the penultimate game of last season.
Manager Riley recalled: “They scored five from set-pieces – it was unbelievable.
“We have certainly got to be on our game defensively. It is going to be tough but, hopefully, we can take the confidence from the games we had against Chesham and Chippenham.”
