SEAGULLS star Jessie Foster has qualified for four events at next month’s Olympic trials (March 3-4) at the London Aquatics Centre.
Apart from the 100m and 200m breastroke, as reported in the Daily Echo earlier this month, she has also qualified for two medley races.
Jessie will compete in the 200m and 400m individual medley events.
In last weekend’s zonal meet at Millfield, Jessie won the 14/u breaststroke in 1:13.98.
Jessie, a finalist in last year’s European Youth Olympics, went on to win goald in the 14/u 200m breaststroke and bronze in the 200m medley.
Joining Jessie in London are Poole swimmers Dan Speers, Naomi and Noah Vides.
Poole’s Fiona Hardie, Maddy Kemp and Jasmine were unsuccessful in their bids.
The trials event will christen the pool for the 2012 Olympics.
