OAKMEADIANS beat the weather but could not get the better of high-flying Devizes.
After overcoming the freezing conditions on Saturday, Oaks suffered a 60-17 defeat at Meyrick Park.
The Bournemouth-based outfit scored tries through Oli Hare, Peter Davies and Harry Hawkes, with Tom Keir adding one conversion.
But Devizes proved too strong as they moved into second place in Southern Counties South and left Oaks third from bottom, with just five wins from their 16 league matches.
