Broadstone booked their place in the Dorset Under-11s Cup final after a narrow 2-1 win away to Bridport.
After a first half dominated by Broadstone, it became a nail-biting second half as Bridport fought their way back into the game.
Broadstone went 1-0 up after two minutes when a through ball was picked up by Jake Workman who neatly flicked the ball over the keeper.
The second goal came after 20 minutes when a rasping left-footed shot by Oakley Rees gave the Bridport goalkeeper no chance. A third Broadstone goal was disallowed for offside.
The visitors went in at half-time 2-0 up and looking in control.
But Bridport came out for the second half with fresh determination, though.
After 10 minutes, Bridport scored with a shot that clipped the underside of the bar to make it 2-1.
The final 20 minutes was action-packed with several great saves and the ball hooked off the Broadstone goal line.
There was also a great defensive header by Sam Weetman from a free kick on the edge of the box.
Broadstone had an opportunity to make it safe with a penalty but were unable to score.
Kian Shepheard-Walwyn was man of the match for determined and reliable defending.
