PARK School in Queen's Park is celebrating more success after its under-11 girls and boys table tennis teams qualified from the regional finals in Plymouth to represent the South West in the final regional qualifiers.
The girls travel to Cheltenham on Sunday, February 26, while the boys play locally at Portchester School on Saturday, February 25.
They will meet the other top schools in the West of England after winning through against the best schools in Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Wiltshire and Avon.
“This is a wonderful achievement considering Park School installed its first table tennis table only a few weeks ago,” said PE co-ordinator Matthew Spraggs.
The winning boys’ team is Matthew Thornhill, Miles Keene, Henry Sherring and Emilio Frigo, while Chloe Cass, Annabel Graham, Angelina Palmer and Molly Graham made up the victorious girls’ quartet.
