DORSET’S Lee James claimed his third Pro66 Tour title at Burhill GC in Surrey.
James, who is sponsored by Salterns Marina in Poole, carded a six-under-par 66 to pocket the £1,250 first prize.
He finished two shots ahead of European Tour professional Adam Gee, who was looking for back-to-back victories after his success at Royal St George's earlier this month.
James's other Pro66 Tour wins were at The Grove and The Addington last season.
"It was touch and go if I would be playing tournament golf this year before I found a sponsor," said the 2002 Challenge Tour winner.
"I would like to thank John Smith (Salterns Marina) and everyone else who took part in my raffle to find me a new sponsor."
