CHAIRMAN Eddie Mitchell, in the past few minutes, has confirmed Cherries have agreed terms with Burnley over the transfer of Marvin Bartley.
Mitchell insisted he "reluctantly agreed" to the sale of Bartley to the Lancashire club this evening. It is understood Eddie Howe's Clarets tabled an initial bid for Bartley early tonight, which was rejected by Mitchell.
However, the Turf Moor outfit came back with an improved offer just after 9pm. Cardiff City also tabled a bid for Bartley on a dramatic final day of the transfer window.
Mitchell insisted the fee for Bartley would remain undisclosed.
