SIMON Browne watched his high-riding Premier Division outfit Hamworthy United held 1-1 at Laverstock & Ford and then admitted “I wasn’t happy with what I saw from my side”.
Manager Browne added: “In fairness to our guys, they’ve been excellent for the majority of this season. There have only been a couple of occasions when they have been poor, but, unfortunately, this was one of them.”
Dan Haysom’s rash challenge led to Laverstock’s first-half penalty opener, but Luke Burbidge notched Hammers’ equaliser before the break.
Hammers: Lillington, Antrobus (Spencer 40), Haysom, M White, Horlock, Jackson, Webb, Robinson, Murray, Ewen (Cannie 60), Burbidge. Unused subs: Lawrence, Satterley, Ackerman.
