THE Echo’s End the Embargo campaign has really captured the hearts of the supporters – judging by the mountain of mail on the paper’s sports desk yesterday morning.

We have received hundreds of signed petitions from fans supporting our quest to have Cherries’ embargo lifted, following Friday’s special back page.

The petition can still be signed by downloading the page from our website and sending it in to Neil Meldrum, Sports Desk, Daily Echo, Richmond Hill, Bournemouth, BH2 6HH.

Visit bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport to download and sign the petition, which the Echo is aiming to deliver to Lord Mawhinney at Football League HQ in London next week.

Alternatively, supporters can email Neil Meldrum direct on neil.meldrum@bournemouthecho.co.uk, submitting their name and address, and he will complete a back page petition on their behalf.
