THE Cherries must “force” their luck to change as Marco Rose lamented another draw as they were held by Brentford.
Bournemouth had the better of the chances and had 20 shots on goal, with ten on target, but the Bees made the most of their opportunities and scored with their only two shots on target.
Both Brentford goals came from individual Bournemouth errors, but they were good overall, despite another frustrating result.

Rose knows that results will come, they just need to keep putting themselves in the position to create chances and score goals.
Asked what was needed to turn their luck, Rose told the Daily Echo: “The most important thing is to bring us in these kind of situations again and again in trainings, in games.

“Then again, it's not just about lucky and unlucky. You have to force it sometimes. That's what we tried today and we try it on Thursday again.”
Rose has said that his focus is on the reaction to setbacks and ensuring that the team continues to perform as it has done.
They have been good so far this season, and far better value than their three-point return shows, with nine points dropped from winning positions having led in all four of their league games so far.
They responded well to going behind against Brentford and equalised four minutes later, and that impressed the boss.
“For me, it's about the reaction, the response on situations, on mistakes, on goals against,” he said.
“That's what we did really well in the first half. And then we were up, and then it's about finishing the game or conceding not another goal.”

They came out quickly in the second half, and Rose said they performed well but lacked sharpness to put the game to bed.
“The message was that we are good in the game, to continue,” he said, on what was said at the break.
“I felt us in the first half, I felt that we could be a little bit sharper because Brentford is a team that judge mostly really every situation they get.
“So first ball, second ball, defending our box, we had two or three situations where we lacked a little bit on sharpness.
“That's what we spoke about. And yeah, I felt if we get sharper in the second half, we can win the game.”
