THE seats are in place in the south east corner at the Vitality Stadium, as work on the stadium's redevelopment continues at pace.

A handful of seats were in for the visit of Lincoln, with the corner still closed to fans, but now the full complement of seating has been installed with the opening of the corner appearing to not be far away.

The roof structure is in place, but needs to be filled in, along with cladding at the back of the stand and work on the concourse underneath.

There is a tunnel through to the pitch under the corner, which will be used by the ground staff as once the new south stand and all four corners are filled, there will not be the access there currently is.

Liverpool visit Dean Court in eight days, and it has not been confirmed if the corner will be open for that game.

The next home scheduled game for the men's team after that is the visit of Sturm Graz in the Europa League, and it will definitely be open for that game, as the corner will be used as part of the away end for European fixtures.
