'IT IS time' for the Cherries to get their first victory over Brentford in the Premier League, with boss Marco Rose eyeing up this afternoon’s game as a chance to break the club’s poor record against the Bees.
Bournemouth haven’t beaten Brentford in a normal league fixture since August 2014 in the Championship, when they won 1-0 thanks to a Junior Stanislas goal.
They have had a torrid time against the Bees since, with ten defeats, three draws and one win since – but that win came in the first leg of the Championship play-off semi-final, and they were beaten on aggregate after the second leg at Brentford.

The Cherries are also looking for their first league win under new boss Rose when the Bees visit Dean Court on Saturday.
Asked about how he approaches the game mentality with both that and the record against Brentford in mind, Rose told the Daily Echo: “I see it as a chance because we had 10 chances to win and we didn't win.
“So it's time to get the first win.
“I see it just positive to grab the chance to go for a win together. And at the end, I’m quite sure if we bring our quality and the right mentality on the pitch, we have a big chance with our fans to win this game.”
