SWANS defeated a young Hamworthy United Reserve side 5-1 at The County Ground in very hot conditions in the Dorset Premier League.
Swans opened the scoring on 4 minutes through skipper Will Prior with a shot from outside the box which deceived Hammers keeper Ridealgh.
The young Hammers were back level on 28 minutes with a smart shot on the break.
Swans stand-in keeper Mark Ford had to pull off 2 smart saves to deny the home side.
The visitors edged ahead when Stephen Pryor powered a header home from a corner.
Swans produced the vital 3rd goal a minute before half-time when Will Prior cleverly shot past the helpless keeper from an acute angle.

The Hammers reserves played some neat football and produced a few good chances, however it was the in-form Mark Ford that denied them on several occasions.
Swans attack was always dangerous and they added number 4 from Jack Torniainen and with time ticking away Josh Reavenall-Nuete added the fifth.
A solid team performance which moved the Swans up to fifth position in the league.
