PIRATES’ trip to Oxford on Wednesday night has been postponed to not clash with England’s game against DR Congo at the World Cup.
The Three Lions will face the African nation at 5pm on Wednesday, July 1, which could run into the time when Poole’s meeting with the Cheetahs was set to run at Sandy Lane.
A statement from Oxford said: "As a patriotic club, the management know that many fans, riders, and volunteers will want to support their country in the competition, which is why they have made this decision.

That means Pirates will next be in action on Wednesday, July 15, when they host the Scunthorpe Scorpions in the league, before the return fixture on the Friday of that week, July 17.
Twenty-four hours later, Poole will then visit Workington in a fixture that was brought forward from August 15 due to a clash with the British Final.
