WITH the 1stXI having their bye, attention turned to the 2ndXI, who travelled to Christchurch in their latest Division Three encounter.
Swanage got off to a solid start, but the innings gained real momentum when Max Nicholson was joined by Sid Nash.
Together they compiled a half-century partnership before Nicholson was dismissed for 33.
Nash was then joined by Chris Backhouse.
Together they went into overdrive, compiling a simply sensational stand of 173 in just 13 overs to enable the visitors to post a formidable score of 350-4 from their 40 overs.
Fittingly, Nash brought up an incredible century with a huge six.
Then, Backhouse recorded a destructive century of his own (102) from the penultimate ball of the innings, which included six maximums.
Nash also remained undefeated on 122 with 22 boundaries.
In reply, Christchurch were subjected to an amazing spell of swing bowling by Steve Ramsay.
He registered a five-wicket haul to leave the hosts reeling at 80-5.
There was also a brace of wickets for both Michael (B) and Andrew Hancock to help guide the side to a convincing 208-run victory.
The 3rdXI played host to Chesselbourne in their latest Division five clash.
The hosts batted first and got off to a great start with a century opening partnership between John Lewis and Josh (G) until Lewis was run out for 55.
Josh (G) continued to bat fluently until he was dismissed attempting to hit his 15th boundary for 77, allowing the hosts to post 216-6 off their 40 overs.
The visitors got off to a solid start and looked well-set to chase down the hosts' total, however Paul Knight bowled beautifully, claiming three quick wickets to leave the visitors reeling at 130-7.
He was supported by the hosts' 'young-guns' - Alfred (R), Danny (N) and Josh (V-S) but, fittingly, the innings was finished off by Alan Marks who claimed his third wicket to complete a brilliant 58-run win.
