THE Cherries were forced to settle for a point after a late Leeds equaliser denied them all three at the Vitality Stadium last night, but it was another good overall performance that extended the club’s unbeaten run to 14 games.
Junior Kroupi scored an excellent opener on the night, before Rayan came off the bench to put Bournemouth back in front.
But the team’s set piece defensive frailties were highlighted as both the goals conceded to Leeds came from long throws.

Djordje Petrovic: 6
The keeper did not have a lot to do across the 90 minutes as Leeds were limited to few opportunities.
Adrien Truffert: 7
The two Cherries full backs were impressive at both ends of the pitch, and Truffert continued his good recent form on the left.
Marcos Senesi: 8
Senesi was superb, both defensively and going forward. He collected an assist for Kroupi’s goal with an excellent challenge on halfway and then to drive into the Leeds half and play a precise pass for the forward was hugely impressive. Was very close to having a second assist for Evanilson’s goal that was ruled out for offside.
James Hill: 6
Not one of Hill’s better recent games, but still solid overall. He was unfortunate with the own goal but was fortunate to get away with losing the ball to Noah Okafor when he hit the post.
Alex Jimenez: 8
Jimenez was brilliant in the first half in particular. He was a real livewire and was a menace to the Leeds backline, while also dealing well with Gabriel Gudmundsson on the whole.
Ryan Christie: 7
Christie continued his form that has seen him start to cement his spot in midfield, and he looks back to his best.
Alex Scott: 7
Scott alongside Christie was once again good, as the British pair were able to give Bournemouth some good control over the midfield.
Marcus Tavernier: 6
A quieter game for the two Cherries wingers as Leeds defended them well on the whole.
Junior Kroupi: 8
An excellent finish from the young Frenchman to take his tally for the season to 11. I thought his all-round pressing game was good too, with Andoni Iraola saying on Friday that improving that part of Kroupi’s game has been ‘one of his biggest challenges’ – and that seems to be paying off.
David Brooks: 6
As with Tavernier, a quieter game for Brooks, although not from a lack of effort. He was on the receiving end of a nasty challenge early on that left him with stud marks in his shin that didn’t get too much attention, too.
Evanilson: 6
Another industrious performance from the Brazilian as ever. He looked to have been rewarded with a goal with a good run and finish, but his shoulder was offside and it was chalked off.
