CARLO Ancelotti praised Rayan’s attitude and said the Cherries forward will have a big future with the Brazilian national team, after he was called up for the first time yesterday.

The 19-year-old was picked by Ancelotti for the March friendlies, as Brazil take on France and Croatia in the USA.

Rayan has impressed since his arrival in Bournemouth in January, having come from Vasco da Gama in his home country, settling in quickly despite his young age.

While he is still developing as a player, Ancelotti praised the forward and heralded him as a future star for Brazil.

Speaking at the squad announcement press conference, the experienced boss said: “Rayan is a powerful, disciplined player with quality and a good attitude on the field.

“He’s performed very well in a difficult league like the Premier League.

“I believe he's young and that he's a future star for the national team.

“I don't know if he'll be in the next World Cup squad, but based on what he's doing, he deserves to be on the technical committee's list.”
