THREE first half goals from Cherries saw them defeat south coast neighbours Southampton comfortably at the Vitality Stadium last night.
Brazilian club-record signing Evanilson bagged his first goal in Bournemouth colours after he and Marcus Tavernier showed good awareness to take a quick free kick after 17 minutes.
Dango Ouattara then diverted Lewis Cook's shot into the back of the Saints goal past former Cherry Aaron Ramsdale with 32 minutes played.
Antoine Semenyo scored the pick of the three goals seven minutes later, as he took three Southampton defenders out with a chop before driving into the box and firing a fantastic finish home to give Cherries a 3-0 lead at the break.
The visitors got one goal back six minutes into the second half but they weren't able to close the two goal deficit and Bournemouth picked up their first home win of the season.
