MARCOS Senesi labelled Dominic Solanke a “key player” for Cherries, adding: “We know how important he is for us.”
Solanke struck twice as Cherries eased to a 2-0 victory over Newcastle United prior to the international break.
It took the one-time England international to six goals for the campaign, already equalling his best ever Premier League tally for a season.
Discussing Solanke, teammate Senesi said: “He is massive for us. It’s nice to see him scoring goals.
“I think as a team we know how important he is for us. He is key for the team.”
Solanke broke the deadlock by reacting quickest to a loose ball in the box before slamming in.
Asked about the 26-year-old’s finish, Senesi said: “He did a really great finish.
“I always see him doing those kind of finishes in training, so it’s something we are used to seeing.
“He’s a key player for us. We know how he can help us, so we are happy to have him.”
