NEITHER Poole Town nor Wimborne Town will be in action this evening, after both their respective matches were postponed.
Dolphins were set for an exciting tussle against Southern Premier South leaders Salisbury at BlackGold Stadium.
It was previously rearranged due to Poole’s FA Trophy exploits.
But the game will not go ahead following a 2pm pitch inspection, the club saying the game has been called off “due to the constant rain” with a new date to be advised.
Wimborne were set to welcome Weymouth to New Cuthbury in the first round of the Dorset Senior Cup.
But their pitch also failed an inspection on Tuesday afternoon.
Pre-booked tickets will be valid for the rearranged date, which is to be confirmed.
Poole return to action at home against Walton & Hersham on Saturday, while Wimborne go to Cribbs (both 3pm).
