POOLE Pirates star Zach Cook continued his recent fine form with victory at the well-renowned Olympique Individual at Wolverhampton.
Cook totalled 30+4 for Pirates across three meetings last week, including a vital 14-point haul in Sunday’s Knockout Cup final first leg at Scunthorpe.
And a day later the Aussie shone at Monmore Green, coming out on top in an impressive field of 16 riders.
After five qualifying rides, the 24-year-old joint-top scored with 11 points, alongside former Pirate Rory Schlein.
That included victories over the likes of veteran duo Chris Harris and Scott Nicholls as well as Pirates teammate Steve Worrall.
Then, in the final, Cook took to the front from the tapes, holding off Schlein, with Tom Brennan and Luke Becker behind.
Worrall had a tough night, scoring just five points.
