CHERRIES have confirmed that seven youngsters will be departing their academy at the end of the season.
Goalkeeper Ollie Camis, defenders Chris Francis, Brooklyn Genesini, Tarik Gidare, Josh Popoola, and midfielders Marcus Daws and Matt Burgess have not been offered new deals.
Aside from goalie Camis, the six outfielders had spent time out on loan at non-league level.
Only Genesini ever made an appearance for Cherries’ first team.
He scored on his senior debut, coming off the bench to equalise at the death in Cherries’ 2-2 draw with Norwich City in the League Cup back in August, with Cherries going on to advance via penalties.
Development squad coach Alan Connell, who previously managed the under-18s, told the club’s website: “It’s always difficult seeing players leave the football club, and we wish them well as they continue their careers elsewhere.”
