YOUNG Cherries forward Baylin Johnson has joined Dorchester Town on loan until the end of the season.
The teenager joined Cherries’ academy from Arsenal in 2020 and while he is yet to feature in a senior matchday squad, has on occasion trained with the first team in recent months.
Johnson started for Cherries in their 5-2 Hampshire Senior Cup win over Portsmouth at Vitality Stadium on Tuesday night.
The 17-year-old joins Cherries teammate Ferdinand Okoh at The Avenue.
Glenn Howes’s Magpies currently sit 14th in Southern League Premier South, the seventh tier of English football.
Johnson is one of four new arrivals at Dorchester this week with Jake Graziano, Lloyd Thomas and Lewis Waterfield also snapped up.
He could make his debut at home against Merthyr Town tomorrow (3pm).
