CHERRIES have had three huge games shifted, the Premier League have confirmed.

West Ham’s 6-0 aggregate win over AEK Larnaca in the UEFA Europa Conference League has had a knock-on effect on Cherries.

Hammers’ advancement to the quarter-final stage of Europe’s tertiary competition now means the game between the sides on Saturday, April 22, is now set to be staged on Sunday, April 23 (kick-off 2pm).

Cherries were then due to travel across the New Forest to face rivals Southampton on Tuesday, April 25, but there are further ramifications of the West Ham game being moved.

That fixture will now be staged at St Mary’s on Thursday, April 27 (kick-off 7.45pm). The rearranged game will still be broadcasted by BT Sport.

Leeds United were then set to visit the Vitality Stadium on Saturday, April 29, but due to the Saints game being pushed back, that fixture has also been rescheduled.

Cherries will now host their relegation rivals on Sunday, April 30, another 2pm kick-off.

It could potentially be a mammoth week at the end of April for Cherries, with three games against sides directly around them in the current league table.

However, before they can even think about the relegation dogfights, they must contend with five fixtures – including this afternoon’s trip to Aston Villa (kick-off 3pm).
