CHERRIES would be interested in bringing Oliver Skipp to the club, should Tottenham Hotspur decide to loan him out today.

The Daily Echo understands nothing is close to being agreed for the 22-year-old, but that Cherries are keeping a close eye on his situation today.

Reports suggest Spurs may be reluctant to let the England under-21 international leave, especially following an injury to fellow midfielder Pape Sarr.

But if they do sanction a move, Cherries are ready to swoop.

Central midfielder Skipp came up through the youth ranks at Spurs and has made 64 appearances for the first team, including 13 this season.

He spent the 2020-21 season season out on loan at Norwich City, making 47 appearances, most of which came in the Championship.

Meanwhile, Cherries are also understood to hold an interest in Swedish teenager Hugo Larsson.

The Malmo midfielder, 18, made his senior Sweden debut earlier this month.

A fee in excess of 9million euros has been touted, with the possibility of Larsson immediately being loaned out to FC Lorient also mentioned.
