CHERRIES have reportedly lodged a 30million euro bid for Roma’s attacking midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo.

That is according to Italian outlet Sky Sport.

AC Milan are said to be keen to sign the 23-year-old, but it is Cherries who have reportedly moved to meet the asking price.

Sky claim the offer of 30million euros, plus bonuses and a percentage of Zaniolo’s resale value, is the kind of figure Roma have been looking for.

They are now reportedly waiting to see if AC Milan match the bid and if not “are ready to close the deal with the English club”.

Italy international Zaniolo has played 11 times for his country, scoring twice.

Joining from Inter in 2018, Zaniolo has gone on to feature 128 times for Roma, netting 24 goals and providing 18 assists.

He scored the only goal as Jose Mourinho’s side beat Feyenoord to win the Europa Conference League final last season.
