WINGER Junior Stanislas insisted he was expecting to put in the hard yards with Cherries as they arrived at their Dubai training camp.

The Dorset club flew out to their mid-season training destination on Wednesday and confirmed they would be based at the JA Sports Centre in Dubai for the next week.

And Stanislas, who scored in a 4-1 Carabao Cup third round win over Everton before the World Cup break, admits he is expecting a “mini version” of pre-season.

He told afcb.co.uk: “I’m looking forward to the training camp in Dubai.

“A bit of warm weather will be nice and the boys get away from everything and really focus on the work.

“It will be hard work. We’ve had a few pre-seasons together as a group and it’s tough.

“This will be a mini version of that so the lads will work hard and be ready to go when we come back.”

Cherries are set to visit Newcastle United in their next competitive fixture on Wednesday, December 21.
